I love that my teen guys enjoy digging into the word of God. I think raising them from infancy to have a Bible on hand and study it has really helped to increase their love for the word.
NIV is an easier version to understand than say the KJV. Daily readings from great authors such as Kyle Idleman, Max Lucado and more make this NIV Bible for Teen Guys unique for the soon to be man. These Building, Faith, Wisdom, Strength, sections have the teen read a section of scripture and then offers a personal reflection on it.
This Bible takes a look more in depth at several of the Men of the Bible, including what their name means and where their story takes place in the Bible.
There are several highlighted verses, in a very faint yellow. These are some of the Promises of God, that the teen can quickly scan the word and find.
This Bible includes a concordance to help in finding specific verses. Also there is an index of the devotions to make it easier to find them interspersed throughout the Bible. A topical index allows the teen to look up devotions that relate specifically to things like Forgiveness or Failure.
I think the grey and yellow theme in this Bible really help it to have a masculine feel to it. I know my teens have really enjoyed it.
Devotions and Bible reading all in one beautifully done book. This hardcover Bible is available at Zondervan and Christian retailers.
You can pick up a copy at Zondervan
