Kevin DeYoung
Illustrated by Don Clark
About the book:
Hardcover: 132 pages
Publisher: Crossway (August 31, 2015)

In The Biggest Story, Kevin DeYoung - a best-selling author and father of six - leads kids and parents alike on an exciting journey through the Bible, connecting the dots from the garden of Eden to Christ's death on the cross to the new heave and new earth.  With powerful illustrations by award-winning artist Don Clark, this imaginative retelling of the Bible's core message-how the Snake Crusher brings us back to the garden-will draw children into the biblical story, teaching them that God's promises are even bigger and better than we think.
Stunning book!! The illustrations are breath taking for sure. I love how Kevin DeYoung has taken the entire Bible message, or our redeemer and savior and put it into bite size pieces for the very young. A synopsis of the whole Bible message.. Jesus and how it weaves through the Old Testament and New Testament, pointed to Him who was the snake crusher for all mankind.
His language is so easy to understand. No holds barred. " No one understood it completely at the time, but when Mary pushed out that baby, God pushed into the world the long-expected Prophet, Priest and King." Absolutely!
This is not a book you will just read once and shelve. It is a family treasure book for kids and adults alike. I was so excited to read it. It is a book with 10 chapters, so you can break it up and read one each day. You will have a hard time stopping at just one!
The Bible isn't a collection of a bunch of small stories. It is a story of one Big story! The story of Jesus Christ.
I am so thrilled to be able to offer you a giveaway copy of this book!!
