Louise Loves Art by Kelly Light *Review & Giveaway

We love to sit and snuggle on the couch and read awesome books in the winter! With the sun setting so early, and the cold nights, there isn't anything better than snuggling in for a long winter's nap!
Louise Loves Art by Kelly Light is a very enjoyable picture book

LOUISE LOVES ART by Kelly Light ($17.99, ages 4-8)

For fans of Olivia and Eloise, this stunning debut from Kelly Light is an irresistible story about the importance of creativity in all its forms.
Meet Louise. Louise loves art more than anything. It's her imagination on the outside. She is determined to create a masterpiece—her pièce de résistance!
Louise also loves Art, her little brother. This is their story.
Louise Loves Art is a celebration of the brilliant artist who resides in all of us.

I love the illustrations in this book! The colors are great with the emphasis on red, black and white. I really enjoy this style of illustrating. Louise is always drawing, she says "So little time, so much to draw". Louise is setting up her art show in her house, and her brother Art just wants a little attention. He accidentally cuts up her masterpiece into a beautiful paperdoll. What an awesome big sister! She is upset of course, but she puts her little brother first before her love of art, and that is just beautiful!!
