Keepsake Ornaments from Hallmark *Review & Giveaway #KeepsakeIt

My little one is due any day now, and we are getting her set up right this Christmas season with a Keepsake ornament from Hallmark to commemorate her First Christmas!

I have my own collection of ornaments from 30 years ago and it is just fitting to start our new little daughter off the same way. I love how my parents would each year pick a Hallmark Keepsake ornament for me that showcased something special from that year. I have an owl wearing eye glasses for one Christmas to show that was when I first got my glasses. I have an ice skating mouse to show the year I went skating constantly. Each one would have a story behind it that my parents shared with me each year.

When I moved out, the box of ornaments went with me and my collection had started! I continued the tradition after I got married including our first year of marriage, our expecting our first child.. both a expecting Daddy and Mommy ornament. We started our first child off with a Hallmark Keepsake ornament as well and have added those first years with the next 6 children. There is just something that says quality, keepsake, and Christmas like a Hallmark ornament!

Pooh bear is timeless and I just love this ornament for our new little one! Not only is Pooh Bear timeless, he is also gender neutral if you aren't sure what your little one will be before he/she arrives this holiday season.

I love the dated ornaments for helping me to keep track of which child it belongs to. It is the perfect time to start collecting these style of ornaments for your own kids. Use them each year on the tree, and when they are reading to move out and start their own traditions, they will have these fantastic ornaments already in their collection!
