Build Lasting Relationships and Strengthen Religiosity

Disclosure: This is a paid promotional post

There in an innate need to connect with other people. People are intrinsically social beings with the need to belong. Studies show that a sense of connectedness helps people adapt to the ups and downs of life. There are many ways to forge the connections that will help you belong, with family being the main, center way to forge those connections. Some people feel satisfied with only family connections, but many people look outside family connections for an additional feeling of belonging. Friends, coworkers, and church congregations can all help to fill the innate need to connect with other people. If you are looking for a place to worship and forge social connections, check out Platt Park Church.

Worshipping together is a great way to forge a bond. You can also gather together outside of the worshipping environment to learn, grow, have fun, and create and strengthen friendships. The groups available to gather with range from a cooking and book discussion group, to religious studies groups, to walking groups. Whatever your interests are, you should be able to find a group that fits your needs. If you have something special to share, you can head up a group for those within the congregation to gather to.

One of the best ways to increase your level of happiness and also increase your self-esteem is to serve others. With your congregational family you can choose opportunities to serve those in your community and exemplify the life of Jesus Christ. It is a privilege to serve those who are in need. To lift the hands that hang down and live the mantra, love God, love others, and do something.

At Platt Park Church, you can join with others who have a theological belief consistent with historic, orthodox Christianity. The core practices center around loving the Triune God with a whole self, inviting others , through word and deed, to follow Christ, build loving relationships, grow in Christ-like character, and give service to others. While a part of this religious community, you can build supportive relationships with others and feel the love of your Savior.
