Mighty Leaf Iced Tea *Review

There is nothing I love more on a hot day than a glass of flavorful iced tea! It is so very refreshing and nostalgic to sit on the front porch drinking tea!

I was thrilled to try Mighty Leaf Iced Tea this summer. This tea is so much more flavorful than the tea bags I have been buying at the grocery store.

The Mighty Leaf natural tea is a blend of hand picked whole leaf tea, blossoms, herbs, fruits and spices. The natural tea is too big for ordinary tea bags, so the tea is put in artisan Tea Pouches, hand stitched with unbleached cotton. You can see the bounty of the tea before you brew it!
Mighty Leaf has four Iced Tea Flavors:

Organic Black: Hand picked on the dewy slopes of the Nilgiri mountains, the South Indian organic black tea leaves unleash a refreshingly smooth iced tea with a dark amber hue
Sunburst Green: Mountain grown Chinese green tea leaves along with sun ripened oranges and sweet citrus. This tea has the lowest caffeine of the three.
Ginger Peach: A light, sweet mix of India black leaf tea, sun swelled peaches and ginger. This has a wonderful smell and long lasting flavor.
Calypso Mango: South Indian black tea leaves infused with mango and tropical fruits.

These iced tea bags are easy to brew, with directions on each bag tag. Each bag brews 1/2 gallon of tea.
Each box contains 4 tea bags for a brewing of 2 gallons total. Price for each box is $5.99

Mighty Leaf creates signature flavors that are easy, frugal and green. Brewing your own tea allows us to say bye-bye to the plastic bottles we purchase tea in!

Now you can brew your own tea in a Takeya Iced Tea Pitcher, perfect size for one Mighty Leaf tea bag! This flash iced tea maker is BPA free. The innovative lid allows it to be stored upright or on it's side. Not that you will need to store it, you will drink it all before it makes its way to the fridge!

Takeya Glass Water Bottle is the perfect fit for taking your Iced Tea on the go!  Fill it up and prevent the urge to purchase plastic ice tea bottles. You can totally go green this summer with your tea.

Mighty Leaf is giving my readers a treat of 15% off all tea pouches, loose tea and iced tea at www.mightleaf.com through August 15th using code BCDIYIT
