Country Door Sponsor Review

We finally were able to make ice cream in our new Elite Old Fashioned Ice Cream Maker!
Since we recently picked strawberries we decided to go with that recipe in the booklet. There isn't a vanilla recipe, but I think you could easily modify one or look online.

So super easy to put together that my 11 year old had it all done for us!

There is some prep time to getting the recipe ready. I would plan 3 hours ahead of when you want to start making the ice cream. And also make sure you have plenty of ice!

We started out hand cranking, then the novelty wore off so we attached the electric mixer.. Woo hoo!

Less than 45 minutes later I walk in and two kids were digging in already.

Nice, healthy, homemade ice cream! It was super rich and creamy. Loved it!

  4. If you ever break it or lose any of the parts for whatever reason it would make a nice decorative piece as well.

  13. Here is a really good recipe that takes 2 minuets to make.
1 2litre bottle of Soda any flavor (we like orange).
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
Mix and put in the ice cream freezer.
    That's it

  23. I remember when we were kids we had an old hand crank ice cream maker. So us 5 kids each had to take a turn cranking it or we didnt get to taste the ice cream. Like all the flavors you can make in these.

  24. We had an old wooden crank ice cream maker as children and took our turns churning the ice cream. It was taken to the lake and a treat for our picnics!
