My Thoughts: I LOVED Beth's first book Tales of the Not Forgotten and was so excited to see a second book come from this ministry. Such an insightful way for us to see first hand some of the stories on the mission field and to prick our hearts for the ministry. God is our great defender and works all things together for good. He never promises that we won't get hurt, or struggle. But he does promise to never leave us. These stories show the truth of God being the great defender! Very encouraging for the entire family. Beth is a full time missionary now and has a knack for sharing these stories so that they are interesting to all age levels, and also allowing the Holy Spirit to work through each of us in His own way. The stories in the book are true stories, with God as the storyweaver. I love how their are photos and drawings. Such personal stories, that we are able to be a part of seeing how God was the defender. The stories can be sad and heart wrenching, but then you are brought to tears of joy for the goodness of the Lord in bringing these families to good things.
