What did you do for Easter?
We had to be at church at 8am because three of my kids were in a skit for both services. They did a phenomenal job! Dh was able to be with us, despite working 14 hour nights. We had to jab him a few times to wake him up. We are delaying our Easter dinner until DH is home on the weekend. It was a great worship service, and a wonderful celebration of Jesus, but we had just a normal afternoon.
How bad were you with candy or treats? (On a scale of 1-10. 1 being good, 10 being sugared up)
I love candy. Plain and simple. We do not do Easter baskets, but rather first day of spring baskets so my kids already have had their candy for about 10 days. I do however go the day after Easter and stock up on candy. Grandpa sent some money for the kids to have candy. Check out this video with Christian recording artist Chris August. It is the Candy Wrap!
What's one of the first things you'd like to do when you have consistent spring temperatures?
I would like to clean up the flower beds. I am not much of a landscaper, but the house we moved into had great landscaping. I feel I should at least attempt to make it acceptable! It isn't my favorite thing to do, but I do like the end result. The other thing I want to do is hang a hammock out and read!
How are you at gift buying?
I think I do a great job with my kids. I look online and target their interests. Sometimes I tend to run low on time to order things but otherwise I do well. Outside of my immediate family I am lousy. Just don't have the resources to buy the things I would like so really don't do anything with extended family or friend.
Do you have an projects in mind for the month of April?
I need to do some spring cleaning. My sewing machine hasn't seen fabric in 1.5 years, and I would love to get my sewing room organized. Right now it is the catch all room and very messy. If I could get that done I would like to work on a quilt.
