Made in Heaven by Ray Comfort and Jeffrey Seto

Made in Heaven by Ray Comfort and Jeffrey Seto

We used this book to read about an animal and their design each night at the dinner table. Perfect size for a small devotional right after dinner. It captivated each of the 6 children's interest as well as Mom and Dad, hard to find in a book! That in itself made it super attractive. The kids were excited to read about it.
It is amazing how God is truly the creator of all things. We know this to be true, and often even say it. What this book does is showcase how even in our inventions, we really are just reusing a design that God had already created. Nothing is new, everything has already be designed by God.
This is a must have for all families as a permanent resident on their bookshelves. Great for a family reading time, fantastic supplement to a study of biology or other sciences. Great facts and proof for a creation mindset.

My teens really enjoyed this book and I would often see them sitting on the couch with the book throughout the day, not being able to wait for the next evening to read ahead!

"Alot of cool facts of the animal and potential uses, seemed like it was a little bit more about the stuff from what we could use from it rather than about the animal" Dakota age 17

Dakota loves animals and the book often would just touch on a small amount of info on each one, giving him a spring board to research and look up additional information. Just enough to wet your whistle for a youngster who desires to learn more, but I find that great as it leads into research and delight driven learning!

"Even if we think we are special and our scientific achievements are so wonderful, they are just imitations copies of what God has already designed." Montana age 15

Montana's favorite one was about a type of spider called the Malagasy spider, whose web is the strongest biological known material to date, 10 times stronger than Kevlar.
As the kids read ahead of me, they would come back with facts and excitement at how awesome God is!!
I am so thankful that there are books like this, giving glory to the creator! Unlike secular books who claim the designs are of their own doing. We know wisdom truly comes from and I am thankful that I can encourage my children in the way of the Lord with Master Books.
