Chats on the Farmhouse Porch #83

Everyday Ruralty

One of these days we will physically make it out on the porch swing again.. but it won't be today. Raining all morning, heard it will change over to snow this evening, making one fine mess. My oldest travels to college twice a week, and of course that will be Weds morning in the mess..

Here are our questions for the week...

1.Who has the most outgoing personality in your family?
I have a family full of outgoing personalities! DH is probably one of the most outgoing. He knows everyone, and can talk to anyone at all. He isn't influenced by age, sex, race, or social economic status.. just a great, outgoing guy and a couple of my kids get that from him.

2. How did you name your blog?
My blog A Year of Jubilee Reviews is actually named after a season in the Bible and for my daughter. My daughter's middle name is Jubilee. A Year of Jubilee is found in Leviticus 25, the fiftieth year is a Jubilee

 3. What's your favorite topping for ice cream?
Hot fudge!! Not that chocolate syrup, though I do enjoy that, I love hot fudge and lots of it.

4.  Tell me about someone you know who would make a wonderful character for a book.
I think my son's basketball coach and family would be a great book. His coach is deaf, as is coach's wife and parents. Their 4 kids however are hearing. That dynamic would make for a great book I think. The coach gives of his time to teach the homeschool team of basketball boys. He is also a pastor.

5. Please tell me up to three questions that you think I should ask on future farmhouse chats.

 A. What type of seafood have you tried and liked? What is the most unique seafood product you have eaten.

B. Do you garden? Use organic techniques or traditional with store bought fertilizer?

C. What animals have you seen give live birth?

See you on the porch next week we hope!!

  3. I love hot fudge. The way you got your blog name is very interesting. The deaf coach would make a great book. So many people let lesser things limit them- amazing. Thanks for some new questions. Have a great week!
