October Baby- outstanding Pro-Life movie

October Baby (Blu-ray/DVD)

Hannah eager, yet nervously prepares for her debut on the stage of her first college play. She is standing there amidst the lights and a packed audience, when her head starts spinning, she sees lights, hears distance voices, and collapses.
Lots of testing to find what is causing Hannah's physical issues, as they all seem to be related. She has epilepsy, severe allergies and emotional issues that the Dr. finds are linked together. The Dr reveils that Hannah is adopted, which Hannah had never been told. In addition to that, she finds that she was the result of a botched abortion at 24 weeks, and was adopted by her parents after that.
Putting reason to her feelings of not fitting in, of feeling like she can't keep her head above water, and her constantly feeling like there is more to life than this.

Hannah of course wants to find answers to her past, and despite her parents insistence that she not, she embarks with friend Jason to search for information, starting with the hospital she was born in. The cover story of their adventures is spring break road trip to Mardi Gras, with a short stop over in Mobile, where Hannah was born. The hippy, spunky, bus driver is non other than American Idol contestant and recording artist, Chris Sligh. So fun to see him in a film like this! He was always one of my favorites.. on a side note.

What Hannah finds at the end of her trip, is not the accepting happiness she hopes for in finding her mother. Perhaps she finds something or someone much bigger.

This is a box of tissues type of movie. I was going to watch it with a group of people and couldn't wait so watched it one night with the older kids. So glad I wasn't with a group of women, we would have all been sobbing. It is a very emotional movie, very deep in pro-life advocacy.
Absolutely recommend it, I think it will be a greatly loved show!! I am not a huge movie watcher, and I think this movie was simply outstanding!

It seems too complex and extremely broad for me.
