In one Ear and out the Other is a book on what adults say, and what children hear!! If you ever stop and wonder if kids actually listening to us when we talk??  They aren't! They are taking what we say and turning into what they want us to say.
This book takes what the adult says, and illustrates it and on the opposite page shares what the kids 'heard' and it is so funny! Adults will say "Yes, that is exactly what happens"!
Did you make your bed? ... make a bed tent!
Will you take in the paper?... more paper planes!
My favorite, Play nicely with your brother.. rope him up!

The illustrations beautifully speak to all races of children, with each one being represented in adult and children. This is simply meant to be a fun book, to stop and remember what it was like to be a child and we used to do the same things when our parents talked to us. It opens up time for discussion of your own childhood with your kids as you laugh and joke around through this book.
Susan Pace-Koch writes delightful books and this one continues to be a wonderful addition to your personal library.

I received a copy of this book from the author to better facilitate a fair and accurate review.
