Star Wars Costumes.. May the force be with you!

Playing dress-up in our home leads to such creativity in my children! I love to watch them reenact shows they have seen or books we have read in their own imaginative way. When I saw that Wholesale Costume Club was looking to have some Star Wars costumes reviewed, I knew a couple boys in my family that would love it!

I let little man choose his favorite and he decided on Jawa from Star Wars. We had to back track in our mind to which of George Lucas's films had the Jawa.. cute little guy!
Perfect choice for my little man and wasn't even a gun slinger, which I know for boys is ingrained, but still if they can play as a character without that is all the better for this mama!

I did order a size bigger as he was right on the upper edge of the costume sizing and I wanted it to last longer than one growth spurt. It is a little bit loose in that the leather belt velcro's on the the shoulders and being a little large on him it gaps a little in the front. A problem for this Jawa? Not one bit!

"The sleeves of the robe are loose and flair out to the wrist. Both the sleeve hem and the hemline of the robe are tattered to make it look like you have been scavenging for decades. Across the chest is an X type faux leather belt similar to that the Jawas wear in Star Wars. The best part of the Jawa ensemble is that it comes with red light up eyes. Jawas scavenge for robots and other technology to sell. They are known for being tricksters, who speak their native language "Jawanese" in a in a high pitched screechy voice." Wholesale Costumes description.

The costumes from Wholesale Costume Club are great quality suits that will last for several children and years of dress up.Not the chintzy plastic ones I remember as a child! They have the whole line up of Star Wars characters available on their website!
