Let’s head over to Denver Colorado home to Boyers Coffee, housed in a historic School house!
Because of the higher altitude and less humidity that the mile high city offers, Bill Boyer was able to slow roast hand selected Arabica beans for a superior quality.
Boyers Coffee sent me a sampler of their coffees and a 1lb bag of Rocky Mountain Thunder as they knew I liked the Dark Roast.
The first sampler I tried was Spoon Bender.. Aptly named!
One cup of this coffee and your eyes pop open for sure! Only for the brave at heart!
Rocky Mountain thunder was a little less jolting than the Spoon Bender. Still a nice deep, dark roast and smooth as can be. My career military father was visiting at the time I was trying Boyers and he says “That is too good to be coffee”!
I tend to load up my coffee with creamer and sugar, and once my Sis in Law asked why I didn’t drink it black? I said it doesn’t taste right black and she told me the right coffee will taste great black. Well guess what I found that coffee!
Boyers Select ! A fantastic coffee all in its own
