From the director of "Angels In the Outfield" comes an inspiring story about a special boy with an amazing gift, and the coach who believed. Dean Cain and Luke Schroder star in the gmc movie based on the book "The Legend of Mickey Tussler".
My family and I watched this the other night and just loved it. I always enjoy Family friendly movies that my 4 through 16 year olds can watch with me and still enjoy. Genuine family movie.
We have watched many movies over the years from the media geared towards family. Some have been obviously low budget and hired actors that were little if known at all.
This movie was different in all of the actors for the most part were fantastic. We didn't care much for Micky's father in the movie. The character was harsh, but the actor didn't seem to portray him well either. He was suppossed to be a stereotypical farmer type dad and having been on the farm we just didn't understand his character well.
The subject of Micky's condition opened up discussion with my family about autism and how God made us all differently and though Micky struggled in some areas he always held strong to his faith.
