Lime Grasshoper- Review and Giveaway

Upcycle, recycle, repurpose and reuse... is Lexan's motto at The Lime Grasshoper. Her creations are made from discarded trash items. She utilizes plastic shopping bags, non working computer parts, beer caps, wine corks and much more.

Though I am not a beer drinker, I loved the lightweight earrings that Lexan sent to me. They were so comfortable I forgot I even had them on. With sensitive ears that in itself was awesome! Wishing they made my favorite soda with bottle caps so she could make earrings of those! I may need to keep my eye out for the specialty stores that may stock the good ole fashioned bottles.

Lexan also send me a Plarn Ploozie.. what?? A coozie for your soft drink cans, made out of plarn.. you know plastic yarn! New concept to me and I love it!. Reusing all of those plastic sacks and mixing it in with yarn to make Plarn, talk about upcycling!

Check out my cool Ploozie

Did it help to keep my Soda Pop cool.. not sure. It was much more fun to hold on to than a wet can though. And definately a conversation piece!! Not being in the habit of using coozies or ploozies I had to remind myself to not throw it away! Which in my going green efforts need to recycle the can too.

Lexan is giving one of my readers this Ploozie from her store !!

Show up at that back yard BBQ this summer being super ecofriendly!
